Material Protection

Material protection products are used in several industrial applications to preserve products and to prevent the growth of harmful organisms. These products prevent the degradation of many well-known everyday products. This saves resources and extends shelf life.

We are active in three different segments of material protection:

Wood protection

Timber is a versatile and beautiful material for construction and joinery projects with significant environmental advantages. Wood however can also be a source of food for fungi and insects leading to decay and insect attack if not properly protected. That’s why we developed our Presta range of products.

Our Presta timber treatment products are fully tested and proven for their effectiveness against wood destroying organisms such as fungi and insects ensuring superior performance backed by official registrations throughout Europe. Apart of our Presta range, which are formulated products and premixes, we also distribute active ingredients (insecticides and fungicides) to formulators of wood protection products.

Wood protection

Protection of hard surfaces

Green algae will grow very well under wet conditions and preferably on shady places. These algae will not cause too many difficulties on many places, but on certain places like terraces etc the surfaces can become slippery.

We developed our Total Clean Concept to protect hard surfaces against algae by offering 3 different Verta products:

  • Verta-Q
  • Verta-Burg
  • Verta-Bel

Preservatives

Preservatives are added to many products to prevent microbial decomposition by bacteria, fungi and yeasts. Microbes can contaminate products at any time during production, transport and use, allowing organisms to reproduce from that point onwards.

Our preservatives are fully tested and proven for their effectiveness against destroying organisms such as bacteria and fungi, ensuring superior performance backed by official registrations throughout Europe.
