Presta Biofinish will be presented as the first pure natural wood coating. Presta Biofinish has unique properties, is biocide free and exempted of BPR approval and patented. It’s based on a black fungus called Aureobasidium pulluans which in combination with linseed oil forms a tough barrier against unwanted organisms such as fungi and insects. The product is 100% natural, self-healing and does not peel off. Compared to traditional paints it is easy to apply and low in maintenance because there is no need to polish, degrease, or clean the wood. After 7 years a single application of Presta Biofinish is advised to feed the existing layer and the protective coating is as good as new!
